Who is Mansir

Who is Mansir?

Mansir Muhammed is a journalist and technologist. Most of his work involves geospatial analysis, open-source intelligence, and data-driven methods to uncover insights and develop products. At HumAngle, he leads projects that use maps, data systems, and investigative reporting to reveal the human and environmental dimensions of conflict, development, displacement, insecurity, and emerging technologies that affect the wellbeing and safety of people and project.

He describes his approach as Integrated Tech, a way of using technology and innovation to strengthen journalism. Mansir develops dashboards, digital tools, and data infrastructures that make it easier to find patterns, verify information, and respond to crises with clarity and context. His work helps journalists, researchers, and humanitarian actors turn complex information into knowledge that empowers people and their work.

Building searchable archives, prompt libraries, and interactive platforms that turn raw data into public knowledge.

What I'm Building

What I'm Building

Beyond investigations, I design and build tools that connect data, people, and intelligent systems — creating infrastructure that supports journalists, technologists, and communities across Africa.

AI Emissary LLM

AI Emissary LLM (mansirmuhammed.com)

A digital extension that learns from my work and can explain the methods, tools, and reasoning behind past investigations. It serves as a living guide to my projects and a resource for anyone exploring data, maps, or open-source intelligence in Africa.

OSINT Hub

OSINT Hub

A central platform hosting real-time dashboards, geospatial archives, OSINT datasets, and AI research assistants at humanglemedia.com. It supports HumAngle's investigative teams and external partners with tools for situational awareness and verification.

Palbot OS

Palbot OS (Emissary Chatbot)

A personal AI operating system that merges memory, context, and creativity. Palbot OS powers my digital twin and future interactive presentations, allowing users to explore my work through conversation and build their own AI agents.

BetweenBots

BetweenBots

An early-stage online store for DIY robotics kits and AI-powered smart physical devices designed for security, household, and office use. BetweenBots aims to make intelligent hardware accessible and locally adaptable across Africa.

HumAngle Interactive Systems

HumAngle Interactive Systems

A suite of newsroom prototypes integrating storytelling with technology — including interactive maps, AI-assisted visual stories, and integrated GIS dashboards. Designed to bridge field reporting, remote sensing, and real-time data visualization.
